Element Recruitment have partnered with a mission‑led organisation within the charity sector who are looking to add a Trusts Executive to the team on a permanent basis.
The Role
The Trusts Executive will be responsible for bringing in funding from charities and grant‑makers, and keeping those funders engaged and informed.
Working closely with the Trusts Manager, you will research, develop and submit compelling applications to both new and existing funders, while producing timely, engaging reports that clearly demonstrate the impact of their support.
We are looking for a highly organised and motivated individual with a passion for writing and a keen eye for detail.
Charity / non‑profit sector experience is essential.
What’s Needed
Manage charitable income streams through trusts and foundations, including grant applications and reporting to funders.
Build and maintain strong relationships with funders and donors, ensuring ongoing stewardship.
Prepare and submit grant applications within deadlines, managing project budgets and financial reporting.
Coordinate project activities, ensuring compliance with funder requirements and internal processes.
Monitor and report on grant progress, providing accurate updates to stakeholders and funders.
Work collaboratively with teams to meet fundraising targets under pressure and tight deadlines.
Proven experience in trust fundraising, grant applications, and donor stewardship within a charitable setting.
Strong understanding of project budgeting and grant reporting processes.
