
Wheels Manufacturing Warehouse Associate

Hourly rate - $17 - $24/hr
WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR:
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for accurately picking orders, mastering multiple shipping methods and preparing outgoing shipments. This position is also responsible for receiving and verifying incoming shipments. As a member of the Wheels Mfg production team, you will also be required to work with colleagues to maintain a safe, clean and operationally efficient shop.
Pick, pack, and label outbound orders.* [45%]
Pick and deliver subcomponents to appropriate assembly areas * [15%]
Receive finished goods from Assembly department, verify counts, stock product on shelves, *10%]
Unpack and examine incoming shipments, verify counts with appropriate Purchase Order, reject damaged items, record shortages, and correspond with manager to rectify issues.* [10%]
Route incoming packages to specified departments.* [5%]
Operate forklift or hand truck to move shipments.* [5%]
Assist in organization and maintenance of the warehouse work environment. [5%]
Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned. [5%]

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or GED preferred
Ability to read and comprehend complex shipping instructions
Basic math and computer skills
Basic computer knowledge including ability to navigate internal and external internet resources
Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
2+ years picking and shipping
2+ years forklift driving
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Working knowledge of various shipping software tools (UPS, FedEx, DHL, USPS)

Physical Requirements
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs constantly
Ability to lift 20 lbs overhead occasionally
Ability to team lift up to 75 lbs frequently
Seizing, holding, grasping, turning, or otherwise working with the hand(s). It is often present when lifting involves the hands. Note: Fingers are involved only to the extent that they are an extension of the hand to hold or operate a tool such as tin snips or scissors constantly
Touching, picking, pinching, or otherwise working primarily with fingers rather than the whole hand or arm as in gross manipulation frequently
Ability to stand and walk up to 8 hours per shift constantly
Ability to perform work on a computer occasionally.
