Overview
Ace Handyman Services - South Bay is seeking experienced, multi-skilled Craftsmen to join our growing team. This is a W2 position offering the flexibility of independent work while providing consistent, year-round job flow.
We handle scheduling, customer acquisition, and logistics — you focus on delivering high-quality craftsmanship and exceptional customer service. This role is ideal for professionals with experience across multiple trades who take pride in their work and enjoy working directly with clients.
Responsibilities
Perform a wide range of handyman services including carpentry, drywall, painting, tiling, and minor plumbing/electrical
Complete drywall repair and mudding to a high standard
Diagnose issues and provide effective repair solutions
Communicate clearly with customers and provide excellent service
Manage job documentation, invoicing, and updates via smartphone apps
Maintain a professional appearance and work ethic at all times
Work independently while coordinating with office staff as needed
Must Have:
5+ years of experience in handyman services, residential construction, or home remodeling
Strong hands-on experience across multiple trades (carpentry, drywall, painting, tiling, etc.)
Proficiency in drywall repair and mudding
Ability to perform minor plumbing and electrical work
Own a comprehensive set of hand and power tools required for the job
Own a truck or van with valid insurance
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Must reside within 15–20 miles of the South Bay / beach cities area
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Comfortable using smartphone apps for job management and invoicing
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Professional demeanor with strong customer service and communication skills
Nice to Have:
Leadership or team lead experience in construction or maintenance environments
Strong customer satisfaction mindset and client-facing experience
Familiarity with project management or scheduling software
