Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced
Network Engineer
to design, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure across corporate offices, data centers, and remote/industrial sites. This role is critical in ensuring secure, scalable, and highly available network connectivity, including environments such as mining and geographically distributed operations.
Key Responsibilities
Network Design & Architecture
Design, deploy, and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, and SD-WAN environments
Support network modernization and integration initiatives (including M&A activities)
Develop standardized network solutions for remote and industrial sites
Perform capacity planning, lifecycle management, and infrastructure upgrades
Network Operations & Support
Manage and support routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
Configure and troubleshoot VLANs, routing protocols, NAT, and firewall rules
Build and maintain site-to-site and remote-access VPN solutions
Administer
Palo Alto firewalls
including rule management, logging, and traffic analysis
Support remote access solutions such as GlobalProtect and Azure VPN
Troubleshoot complex network issues across enterprise and remote environments
Create and maintain network documentation, diagrams, SOPs, and runbooks
Participate in on-call rotations and maintenance activities
Required Skills
5+ years of experience in enterprise networking
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and wireless technologies
Hands-on experience with firewalls ( Palo Alto preferred )
Experience with Aruba networking solutions (or similar platforms)
Expertise in VLANs, NAT, VPNs, and network segmentation
Experience supporting distributed and remote site networks
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Good communication and documentation abilities
Preferred Skills
Palo Alto certifications ( PCNSE ) or equivalent experience
Experience with
SD-WAN technologies
Knowledge of
Azure networking
(VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, etc.)
Experience with monitoring tools like SolarWinds or LogicMonitor
Proficiency in Visio or similar diagramming tools
Certifications such as
CCNP, PCNSE, Aruba
