Interview Process:

1 Round on Teams

Hands-on SAP Group Reporting and Consolidation expert with 3-4 years of experience in end-to-end configuration, financial close, and enterprise-level implementations (100+ company codes), including S/4HANA transformation support.

Location:

Hybrid onsite is what they want / Flex - I will sub remote candidates (Must be EST Time zone)

Manager Notes:
Prioritize candidates with

3-4 years of direct Group Reporting experience in a financial project/FI account.
Verify experience with end-to-end configuration,

consolidations,

and transition from legacy systems
Look for enterprise-level experience (handling 100+ company codes)
Ensure they have been part of at least one full implementation lifecycle
NOTE:

Avoid candidates who are too Architectural or Managerial-focus on hands-on professionals. We do not need an architect or a manager.

Must Haves:

SAP Group Reporting & Consolidation Expertise

3-4 years of hands-on

Group Reporting experience , including end-to-end configuration
Strong understanding of

SAP consolidation

and

financial close processes
Experience configuring company codes, ledgers, FS items, currency translation, and rates for consolidation
Proficient in managing consolidation of investments and ownership structures
Must have experience with

Consolidation Monitor ,

master data changes,

and

balance carry-forward processes
Ability to optimize Group Reporting performance

Enterprise-Level Experience

Prior experience in large, multinational organizations
Candidates should have handled at least 100+ company codes

(This is very large... massive compared to what other clietns might have)
Experience with SAP BPC before transitioning to Group Reporting is preferred

Full Lifecycle Implementation Experience

At least one full lifecycle implementation of Group Reporting
Ideal candidates have done 2-3 full-cycle implementations at a medium to large-scale company
Ability to interpret and align company codes and

consolidation

processes to new systems

Hands-On, Not Just Management

Avoid candidates focused solely on team leadership, project management, or advisory roles
Need a practical, hands-on professional who has been directly responsible for executing consolidations

Flexibility & Adaptability

Must be open to different

consolidation

approaches and comfortable in an agile environment
Focus is on actual

financial consolidations , not planning consolidations
