About the job
Our client is located in Downtown Houston and looking to add a Sr. Business Analyst to support the Smart Metering Program in the Gas Measurement team. The position will be managing projects deploying the latest gas metering infrastructure and systems across multiple states. This is a 6 month contract that is onsite.
Must have UTILITY industry experience.
Responsibilities:
• Staying up to date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.
• Performing metering deployment requirements gathering and analysis across multiple workstreams.
• Gathering critical metering deployment information from meetings with various stakeholders to align deployment interdependencies.
• Communicate technical meter specification changes and document progress against planned milestones.
• Developing integration test plans for gas metering systems across internal and external environments.
• Data mapping from a client server application to SAP from end-user requirements.
• Performing end-user acceptance testing as part of the project team.
• Validating meter data across an IT architecture solution, end-to-end.
• Serving as a liaison between program stakeholders and metering end-users.
• Guiding standardization and IT testing best practices with cross-functional teams.
• Evaluating business processes related to metering devices, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing solutions.
• Monitor and report Intelis Meter Project stakeholder changes across workstreams.
• Reports to Advanced Metering Program Manager in support of ongoing testing and deployment.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5-7 years experience required.
