Position Overview
The
HR Generalist / Recruiter
will provide comprehensive, end‑to‑end HR support across all core functions, including
talent acquisition, labor law compliance, payroll, benefits administration, employee relations, and HR technology management . This role requires a proactive, hands‑on professional who can balance
full‑cycle recruiting responsibilities
with broader HR operations.
This individual will play a key role in
attracting, engaging, and retaining top talent , while also supporting initiatives that enhance employee experience, engagement, and organizational performance. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in both
HR operations and strategic recruiting , with the ability to partner closely with leadership to align workforce planning with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Support HR operations including payroll processing, benefits administration, and compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.
Manage
employee relations
issues, providing guidance and support to employees and managers.
Administer and maintain HR technology systems, including Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HRIS, and benefits software.
Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
Support performance management, training, and employee engagement initiatives.
Maintain HR policies, procedures, and documentation in alignment with best practices and legal requirements.
Participate in performance management processes, including annual reviews and goal setting.
Provide HR reporting and metrics to support data‑driven decision‑making.
Serve as a resource for managers and staff on HR‑related inquiries.
Lead
full‑cycle recruitment , including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates.
Partner with hiring managers on staffing needs, workforce planning, and hiring strategies.
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, or related field required.
Master’s degree (MBA or relevant HR advanced degree) preferred.
SHRM-CP or SHRM‑SCP certification preferred.
3–5 years of HR experience, preferably in healthcare or technology‑driven environments.
Solid understanding of labor law, compliance, and HR best practices.
Experience with payroll processing, benefits administration, and HR technology.
Familiarity with ATS, HRIS, and benefits administration software.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities; ability to mentor and guide team members.
Strong communication, problem‑solving, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple HR functions simultaneously.
