Our client is seeking a
Linux Operations Administrator
to support and operate a
high-performance, on-premises computing (HPC) environment
within a fast-paced, mission-critical organization.
This role is heavily focused on
Linux system operations, production monitoring, CI/CD pipeline support, and automation , supporting compute-intensive workloads. The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, technically strong in Linux internals, and comfortable working in
production-critical environments .
Financial services experience is not required and can be learned on the job.
Required Skills & Experience
3-4+ years
of Linux systems administration in
production environments
Strong knowledge of
Linux internals, system performance, and troubleshooting
Hands-on scripting experience with
Bash and Python
Experience supporting
CI/CD pipelines
in live environments
Working knowledge of
containers
and containerized operations
Foundational understanding of
networking concepts
(switches, routing, traffic flow)
Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills
Comfortable working in
compute-intensive, high-availability environments
Nice to Have
Experience in
High-Performance Computing (HPC)
environments
Exposure to
large-scale on-prem infrastructure
Familiarity with
Arista
or similar networking platforms
Experience with shared storage technologies such as
NFS
