Job Description:

We are seeking a

Python Data Engineer

to support a leading financial institution in delivering high-quality data solutions in a hybrid enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in building and maintaining ETL pipelines, with hands-on experience in Python and SQL. This role is onsite 4 days per week and open to local candidates only.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, build, and optimize

ETL pipelines

using Python and SQL.
Work with

relational databases

and large-scale datasets to ensure reliable data integration.
Develop and manage workflows in

Microsoft SSIS .
Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams in an

Agile

environment.
Participate in code reviews, documentation, and deployment practices using

GitLab

and

JIRA .
Troubleshoot and resolve data quality issues in a proactive and timely manner.
Required Skills:
Strong proficiency in

Python

for data engineering and automation.
Expertise in

SQL

and

relational database systems .
Hands-on experience with

Microsoft SSIS

for ETL development.
Experience working in a

large enterprise financial environment .
Familiarity with

Agile methodologies ,

GitLab , and

JIRA .
Nice to Have:
Experience with

data warehousing

concepts or

cloud data platforms .
Familiarity with data quality frameworks and testing best practices.
