SDET - Python Are you passionate about building robust, automated testing solutions? We are seeking a skilled SDET to help shape the future of financial forecasting for one of the world's leading mortgage companies. You'll join a high-impact team working with a cutting-edge Python and AWS tech stack at an unparalleled scale. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week on-site at our Reston, VA office. What You'll Do • Drive Automation: Design, develop, and manage our test automation frameworks using PyTest and BDD principles to ensure the quality of our Python and AWS-based applications. • Execute Testing Strategy: Perform comprehensive testing across the full software lifecycle, including Regression, Progression, and Shakeout testing. • Integrate with CI/CD: Play a key role in our continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline, ensuring that new features are tested efficiently and reliably. • Collaborate and Communicate: Work within a fast-paced Agile team, effectively communicating test results, presenting information, and responding to questions from stakeholders. • Own Quality: Take initiative to identify quality issues, suggest process improvements, and deliver results with minimal supervision. What You'll Bring • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a software testing or development role, with a strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Test Life Cycle (STLC). • Technical Proficiency: • Strong programming skills in Python. • Hands-on experience with cloud services, particularly Amazon Web Services (AWS). • Expertise in test automation frameworks like PyTest. • Experience implementing BDD with tools like Behave, Cucumber, or Gherkin. • Solid background working within CI/CD environments. • Professional Skills: A detail-oriented and high-energy professional who thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented environment and can meet tight deadlines.
