Senior
Data/Business Analyst
to join our
Meta Reality Labs
team.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving data-driven decision-making within our sales organization. You will be a key partner to the channel lead, providing analytical support and insights that inform sales strategies and optimize our go-to-market approach. The ideal candidate possesses a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a passion for leveraging data to drive business growth within the retail and hard goods sector.
Responsibilities:
Sales Channel Support: Conduct in-depth analyses and investigations to understand sales trends, identify opportunities, and address challenges. This includes drill-down analysis, ad-hoc reporting, and proactive exploration of data to uncover actionable insights.
Data Integration & Leverage: Identify opportunities to integrate and leverage data more effectively across the organization. Develop strategies to enhance data quality and generate deeper insights into the drivers of sales performance.
Collaboration with Data Science/Engineering: Work closely with Meta Reality Labs' data science and engineering teams to communicate sales reporting needs, provide guidance on tooling requirements, and ensure alignment between data capabilities and business objectives.
Rhythm of Business Reporting: Develop and maintain continuous reporting processes that provide a clear and comprehensive view of Reality Labs' business performance. Focus on agility and identify how business operations impact sales outcomes. Create impactful data visualizations to effectively communicate key metrics and trends to stakeholders.
Insights to Action: Conduct ad hoc analyses to address specific business questions and challenges. Apply critical thinking and sales analytics expertise to develop data-driven recommendations for senior sales leaders. Propose adjustments to sales models to optimize operational plans and identify areas for efficiency improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in a business data analyst role, preferably within the retail, tech, or hard goods industries.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Experience working with large datasets and cloud-based data platforms.
