Nightwing.com is transitioning from Pantheon hosting to AWS Lightsail, with a strategic shift to WordPress for both internal and external content management. The design, site mapping, and planning phases are complete. We are now seeking a skilled WordPress Developer to focus on the content migration and site buildout, converting simple SharePoint-based intranet and external website content into WordPress.
Responsibilities:
Build and configure a WordPress website based on completed design and site maps.
Migrate content from SharePoint into WordPress.
Set up basic templates, layouts, and navigation as per provided specifications.
Ensure the new WordPress site is clean, functional, and user-friendly for both internal and external audiences.
Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth content transfer and accurate site structure.
Support light integration tasks related to AWS Lightsail hosting as needed.
Requirements:
3-5 years of professional WordPress development experience.
Experience working with SharePoint (specifically understanding file structures and content organization).
Familiarity with AWS Lightsail hosting services.
Strong skills in WordPress setup, configuration, and content migration.
Familiarity with web hosting environments and site deployment.
