Senior Business Systems Analyst

Required Skills (1 line):
8+ years as a Senior Business Systems Analyst with expertise in business process improvement, SDLC, Agile/Scrum, enterprise systems, data management, and stakeholder coordination across both technical and functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
Business Process Improvement : Identify opportunities to improve business processes, increasing efficiency and effectiveness, and assist in creating proposals for information management efforts.
Program Analysis : Coordinate the analysis of policies and procedures to assess their impact on automated systems and functional areas.
Business Value Focus : Develop ideas that consider industry trends, risk assessments, business continuity, and capability requirements.
User Requirement Coordination : Gather and analyze user requirements, systems, and procedures to automate or improve existing systems, considering workflow and scheduling limitations.
Service Request Lifecycle : Oversee the service request life cycle, including customer responses, business requirements coordination, technical specifications, and system integration.
Vendor Coordination : Collaborate with external vendors and contractors, defining and evaluating their work.
Risk Management : Identify potential risks to projects and design strategies to mitigate or avoid them.
Documentation Review : Review complex project deliverables and provide comments and suggestions for improvement.
Project Management : Lead and manage process change requests, ensuring proper scope, acceptance, installation, and deployment.
Goal Setting and Planning : Align business value and priorities with planning activities and goal-setting.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

8 yrs. of work experience planning, eliciting, analyzing, and managing business requirements and monitoring throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)
8 yrs. of work experience leading simple and complex business process reengineering and transformation efforts that deliver efficiency improvements in quality and customer experience.
8 yrs. of work experience performing a business relationship manager (liaison) role between
functional and technical teams
8 yrs. of work experience leading project teams and/or operational and strategic organizational efforts that involved managing changes and stakeholder relationships, tracking and communicating performance, ensuring resource availability and allocation, coordinating third parties/vendors and delegating tasks
8 yrs. of work experience with projects addressing at least 3 of the following fields:
Data management, data quality, data warehousing, data modeling, data migration and integration
Secure file transfers
Enterprise system analysis
Enterprise architecture
Information security principles
8 yrs. of work experience working in a scrum master role or in an agile scrum environment
8 yrs. of work experience with information systems implementations and enhancements, enterprise level applications and resolution of issues with complex technology components such as MS Office 365 implementation including MS Teams, MS SharePoint implementation, File transfer processing, New software security review and evaluation
8 yrs. of work experience with information systems technologies hardware and software such as:
Servers, telephony, network, data center maintenance, disaster recovery
Identity access management
Information security projects
Patching, upgrades and enhancements
Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in management information systems or business administration
