Job Description
Inspect all paperwork, ensure accurate documentation, track shipments, and maintain a fast‑paced environment that requires frequent lifting of parts. Attention to detail is essential. Employees will train on multiple stations, beginning with observational training on the first day. Other duties as assigned. Location: Bendix Distribution Center (BDC).
Shipping Workstation – Truck Packing
Employee inspects pallet/pallet box and ensures all paperwork is placed with the order, labels printed and applied. Handles up to 50–60 boxes per hour, with weights ranging from under 5 lbs to 52 lbs, and carries them between 10 and 50 ft. After shipment completion, cuts pallet boxes to size for delivery.
Shipping Workstation – Small Package Packing
Employee inspects orders and labels for boxes, inputs information into the computer system, and handles up to 450–500 boxes per shift. Packages weigh up to 70+ pounds and are lifted from a 28‑inch height to floor pallets.

Additional Requirements
All candidates will take a 90‑minute assessment covering basic math, measurement, and identification of micrometers and gauges.
All new hires must pass a drug and background check as well as a physical.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
Must obtain a forklift license.
Must meet all safety and quality standards and participate in daily pre‑work stretching.
Qualifications
Maintain good attendance, including overtime as required.
Operate safely and effectively in an industrial environment.
Read, write, and comprehend work instructions, communications, policies, and job safety analysis.
Perform basic mathematical calculations.
Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
Reason, analyze, and troubleshoot issues on the job.
Work as a team member and resolve issues with co‑workers.
Consistently meet production, safety, and quality standards.
Perform all functions of the job safely and effectively.
Wear required personal protective equipment as described in work instructions.
Comply with customer requirements (e.g., shipping instructions, packaging requirements).
