Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze functional and technical requirements.
Translate business needs into detailed specifications for development teams (Mainframe, Java, Snowflake).
Analyze and document existing
Mainframe
workflows and batch processes.
Work closely with development teams supporting
Java-based applications
to ensure requirements alignment.
Partner with data engineering teams to support backend solutions built on
Snowflake .
Develop and maintain dashboards and analytical reports using
Power BI .
Perform data analysis, validation, and reconciliation across legacy and modern platforms.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in enterprise environments.
Strong working knowledge of:
Mainframe systems
(COBOL, JCL, batch processing concepts preferred)
Java-based applications
Snowflake data warehouse
Power BI
(dashboard development, DAX, data modeling)
Experience with backend data integration and ETL processes.
Strong SQL skills for data analysis and validation.
Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall environments.
Excellent documentation and communication skills.
Ability to bridge legacy systems with modern cloud/data platforms.
