Overview
Fills bottles with products, labels the bottles, and prepares the finished product for delivery to the Product Delivery department.

Responsibilities
Essential

Sets-up work area by retrieving production components (i.e., bottles, caps, pallets, products, rags, totes, etc.) and by sterilizing the tables and equipment, code dating individual bottles, etc.

Uses personnel protective equipment where required.

Fills bottles by operating filling machinery or using manual process.

Works at assigned Filling machine to produce finished product.

Caps bottles by manually applying caps, operating a crimper, operating an air press machine, etc.

Labels specified products by applying the label in appropriate location.

Prepares pallets by filling totes, labeling totes with required information, loading pallets, moving pallets with pallet jacks to the correct area, etc.

Lifts finished product in totes onto pallets, onto a table or onto a shelf.

Performs clean-up duties by washing equipment, sweeping & mopping the floors, emptying the garbage, wiping down workstations with IPA and buckets, etc.

Supports equipment changeover and setup processes as defined by the Machine Operator or Coordinator.

Inspects quality of own work for cleanliness, label placement, lids tight, correct batch numbers, etc.

Assists in training other associates as needed by demonstrating tasks, answering questions, etc.

Monitors quality by wiping excess product from containers, checking silk-screened labels, count on boxes, stacking of pallets, and by verifying that labels are correctly placed.

Completes personal reports by recording information (i.e., individual performance, batch sheets, cleaning logs, labeling, amounts, OTC product forms, component returns sheet to warehouse, etc.).

Additional

Performs other duties as assigned or needed.

Assists in Product Delivery Department when needed.

Assists in machine tear down, cleaning and set-up, etc.

Takes instruction from Machine Operator/Coordinator to assist where needed.

Qualifications
Essential

Ability to work independently.

Written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to lift a minimum of 65 lbs. + consistently for eight (8) hours. Must be able to lift boxes/totes from the floor, to a pallet or onto the line.

Ability to operate mechanical equipment.

Standing and walking for duration of 8-hour shift.

Pulling, stretching, bending, and lifting for duration of shift.

Ability to organize and coordinate projects

Visually read bottles, product, batch numbers, etc.

Manual dexterity for such duties as collating, sorting, filling, toting, etc.

Ability to read, write and perform basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide, etc.)

Good math comprehension skills to solve mathematical problems, and complete assigned paperwork.

Ability to perform essential duties and responsibilities with efficiency and accuracy.

Additional

Work overtime as needed.

Ability to climb stairs.
