Supply Chain Operations Associate (Pharmaceutical experience required)

JOB TITLE: Supply Chain Operations Associate
Location: New Brunswick, NJ (50% onsite)

Duration: 12 months initial (potential extension/potential right to hire)

Work Schedule: Mon-Fri-normal business hours

Provide a key link in Supply Chain between Customers and Intercompany and third-party supply sites and markets. Order processing and invoicing.

Responsibilities
Manage Operations

Liaise with Principal's Purchasing, Finance Departments and Fiscal Reps to perform Supply Chain Operations activities on their behalf

Provide a key link in Supply Chain between intercompany and third-party supply sites and markets

Ensure that customer and supply sites comply with Business and Tolling Rules

Resolve discrepancies in quantity and timing of market orders

Receipt and entry of market orders as per business rules

Receipt and process supplier invoices and follow up on price discrepancies, and payment queries

Accurate receipt and process Tolling Fee invoices

Perform all activities in accordance to Good Distribution Procedure

Issue invoices to markets

Issue required shipping documents, certify with local Chamber of Commerce and legalize with relevant Embassies as required

Liaise with Freight Forwarder/ Logistics for outbound shipments and update Freight Tracker/ Register if applicable

Approval or sign off of Redeployment/ Rework on behalf of Principal

Co-ordinate Redeployments/ Reworks and ensure that the costs are back-charged to the appropriate party

Liaise with QC for testing, release and generation of CoAs for API if applicable

Liaise with QC for QP inspection and release of Drug Products

Manage Information

Assist and support Master Data related to customers, contracts and BOMs

Use reports to monitor and ensure data integrity if applicable

Receive and forward Customer Complaints as per established procedures

Follow up and expedite for prompt resolution(s) Manage Financial Activities/ Compile Financial Reports

Perform all SAP transactions in compliant manner

Meet Finance deadline for month-end and year-end sales reporting

Provide supporting documentation for Financial Audits as requested

Work with External Manufacturing organization to support implementation of new supply models Assist in any ad hoc functions as required and/ or any tasks assigned by the Line Supervisor or Line Manager

Run key operational reports

Assist or maintain master data if applicable

Upload forecasts into SAP via APO or ECC if applicable

Facilitate the maintenance of files, data, and other supporting information for imports and exports for an audit-ready state and coordinate with internal customers in response to audits or other requests for information pertaining to company import / export activities.

Required Competencies

Experience working in a multinational company; preferably in an Export department

Deliver results on time in a pressurized environment

Must be flexible and be able to deal with changing priorities

Demonstrate efficiency in Supply Chain administration, accuracy and timeliness of order processing

Set demanding goals for themselves while maintaining accuracy and a high level of productivity

Follow through commitments to Customers without detriment to the team or company

Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills when dealing with colleagues and external customers

Ability to prioritize, organize and manage multiple tasks to tight deadlines

Exhibit a strong ability to use computer systems efficiently, workable knowledge of ERP system, ideally SAP

Create and maintain strong working relationships within the Client organization and externally with trade customers and suppliers

Understand Client Supply Chain, products and markets

Adapt quickly to the demands of the job and show the ability to learn quickly

Adhere with all Regulatory/ Finance/ EHS/ Security compliance procedure

Education
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain or related fields

Required Qualification(s) and Desired Experience

Knowledge of Supply Chain Operations standards

Knowledge of order processing and invoicing activities

3 years' experience in Multinational Supply Chain Environment, warehouse transactional or any other related experience.

3+ years SAP Experience required

3+ years Logistics Experience

3+ years Shipping and Receiving / Warehousing Experience

3+ years Supply Chain Management

3+ years of experience in customs, trade compliance, or a related field

Understanding of basic U.S. import/export

Understanding of basic U.S. import/export regulations, Foreign Trade Zone operations, and Department of Transportation requirements.

Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.
