
Information Technology Financial Analyst

Information Digital Technology & Security (IDT&S) is currently seeking an Information Technology Financial Analyst to join the team in Hazelwood, MO; Arlington, VA; North Charleston, NC; or Seattle, WA.
Position Responsibilities
Financial Strategy Development: Collaborate with executive leadership to define and implement financial strategies that align with organizational goals and objectives
Financial Oversight: Manage financials for the division including developing and maintaining the 5-year long‑range business plan, managing monthly opportunities and risks, and supporting funding decisions with data analysis
Take ownership of financial processes and outcomes, ensuring accountability for budget management and financial reporting accuracy
Performance Monitoring: Develop and maintain monthly performance metrics and dashboards to track portfolio performance (budget vs actual) and inform decision‑making
Resource Allocation: Optimize resource allocation across the division, ensuring that investments are aligned with strategic priorities and deliver maximum value
Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are managed
Risk Management: Proactively identify financial challenges and opportunities, developing innovative solutions to enhance financial performance and operational efficiency
Change Management: Support organizational change initiatives related to portfolio management, ensuring smooth transitions and effective communication throughout the process (e.g., budget transfers, increases, decreases)
Basic Qualifications
3+ years of experience planning and managing a financial budget
3+ years of experience with business operations and/or business process improvements
3+ years of experience with data analysis and/or data mining
3+ years of experience developing presentations for and presenting to executive leadership
Experience with Microsoft Excel and data manipulation
Preferred Qualifications
Expertise in M365 products, communication, and collaboration tools
Experience in project or program management
Experience in security, governance, risk, and compliance
Experience in budgeting and financial management
Experience managing global teams
Expertise in Microsoft 365 products, communication, and collaboration (duplicate of earlier point)
Experience working in complex environments and matrix organizations
Experience in change management and organizational development
Experience being proactive, motivated, and initiating high‑level tasks or projects independently with limited external direction or encouragement
