About the Role
CBRE, Inc is seeking a Manager of Compliance, M&A Integration who will be responsible for supporting compliance oversight throughout the mergers and acquisitions lifecycle, with a strong emphasis on pre‑ and post‑acquisition integration. The role ensures that the acquired entities are effectively aligned with the company’s compliance framework, policies and procedures, and regulatory obligations while mitigating integration risks. The Manager partners with business leaders of CBRE’s Corporate Development team, Global Risk, Ethics and Compliance team, legal, finance, HR, and operational teams to build a culture of ethics and compliance that supports sustainable organizational growth. This position reports to the Director of Compliance, M&A Integration and offers the opportunity to have a significant impact on the company's success in providing high‑quality real estate, facilities management, and project management services to CBRE clients across the globe. What You’ll Do
Support and execute compliance due diligence activities across active transactions, following established procedures, including risk identification, issue tracking, and documentation of findings.
Coordinate with functional compliance teams (e.g., anti‑corruption, AML, data privacy, employment, trade, antitrust) to collect diligence inputs and validate risk assessments.
Assist in preparing diligence summaries, risk matrices, and executive‑level readouts for deal teams and senior leadership.
Develop and maintain detailed compliance integration plans aligned to the Director’s integration strategy and approved integration model.
Drive execution of post‑close compliance activities, including policy alignment, training delivery, control implementation, and remediation tracking.
Monitor integration milestones, dependencies, and risks; escalate issues and delays to the Director as appropriate.
Maintain integration dashboards, trackers, and documentation to support visibility into integration status, risks, and remediation progress.
Prepare recurring status updates and ad‑hoc reporting for the Director, Specialty Compliance leadership, and cross‑functional stakeholders.
Support audit readiness and internal review activities related to acquired entities, including evidence collection and issue validation.
Act as a day‑to‑day liaison between Compliance, Legal, Finance, HR, Internal Audit, and business leadership during integration execution.
Coordinate meetings, working sessions, and follow‑ups to ensure alignment across integration stakeholders and timely completion of compliance actions.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of M&A compliance playbooks, templates, and tools based on lessons learned from completed integrations.
Support standardization of integration approaches to enable scalability across multiple concurrent transactions.
Assist with reviewing historical acquisitions to identify integration gaps and support remediation planning as directed.
Serve as a key member of the integration team, advising on compliance risks and priorities to enable smooth transitions.
Collaborate with Internal Audit to validate the effectiveness of the integrated controls and compliance readiness.
Conduct Initial Risk Assessments and Risk Revalidations to determine deal complexity and compliance exposure.
Ensure due diligence procedures include sampling and testing aligned with CBRE’s E&C DD Playbook.
Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.

What You’ll Need
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from an accredited institution.
A minimum of 5+ years relevant experience in compliance, risk management, audit, or regulatory roles, with exposure to M&A integration at a highly matrixed multinational organization, is preferred.
Strong knowledge of global regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements.
Skilled in change management and building compliance cultures in newly acquired organizations.
Strong project management and execution skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and competing priorities.
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, influence, and relationship‑building skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions.
Proven ability to collaborate across functions and communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex information, track multiple workstreams, and ensure accuracy in all aspects of compliance activities, including documentation, reporting, and issue resolution.
High integrity and commitment to ethical business practices.
In‑depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, Power BI, etc.
Extensive organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset.
Benefits
The minimum salary for the Compliance Manager – M&A Integration position is $130,000 annually and the maximum salary is $140,000 annually. Compensation will depend on skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
