Job Description
Required Education:
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
• 2 years of relevant experience
• Customer service focus experience
• Familiarity with medical terminology and retail pharmacy
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain patient confidentiality
• Knowledge of HIPAA rules and policies (position involves handling and filing confidential information, including protected health information)
• Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)
• Demonstrated problem-solving ability and attention to detail
• Demonstrated sense of urgency with assignments

Document Scanning Clerk Overview:
• The Representative will work closely with various teams within Provider Network Services, including the RFI Team and Pharmacy Credentialing.
• The RFI Team is primarily responsible for handling incoming, day-to-day, time-sensitive requests required by law or in support of external legal processes.
• Additionally, the Pharmacy Credentialing Team's support involves assisting team leads and staff to meet internal and external goals and performance guarantees.
• Compliance with CMS and departmental standards must be maintained at all times.

Job Duties:
• Ability to read and interpret pharmacy documents
• Extensive data entry work required
