Java Full Stack, heavy Angular, UI/UX design, JWT/SSO, Kafka streaming, AWS, Kubernetes, MongoDB/Redshift, enterprise security/entitlements, and financial domain experience.

We are seeking an experienced

UI/UX Developer

for a long-term consulting assignment in New York City. The ideal candidate will have strong UI/UX design expertise combined with

Java Full Stack and Angular development

experience and a solid background in the

financial services domain . This role requires close collaboration with business users and IT teams in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop interactive, user-friendly web applications using modern UI/UX principles
Create reusable UI frameworks, components, and design patterns
Develop mockups, wireframes, and prototypes and convert them into functional applications
Conduct user research, analysis, and performance benchmark testing
Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues efficiently
Communicate design usability and user experience considerations clearly
Collaborate with business users, product owners, and global development teams
Required Skills & Qualifications
10-15 years of proven software development experience
Strong proficiency in

Java Full Stack development
Heavy experience with

Angular
Experience with

JWT / SSO authentication
Hands-on experience with

Kafka (streaming)
Experience with

AWS cloud services
Knowledge of

Kubernetes / containerization
Experience with

MongoDB and/or Amazon Redshift
Strong communication, organizational, and planning skills
Understanding of large enterprise application requirements, including

security and entitlements
Experience working with

global/offshore teams
Bachelor's degree from a US university (mandatory)
Financial services domain experience (strongly preferred)
