Overview:
A Palo Alto Networks Admin/Engineer performs configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Palo Alto Networks security solutions. He/She acts as a subject matter expert (SME) on Palo Alto products and is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and availability of network security infrastructure. Must have significant experience utilizing Palto Alto Panorama.
Requirements:
Must have 3-5 yrs technical proficiency with Security & Networking concepts for
Palo Alto
Networks products (routing protocols, DNS, DHCP), security principles (firewall management, intrusion detection/prevention inclusive of:
Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
Identifying, diagnosing, and resolving issues related to Palo Alto Networks security products.
Security Policy Management:
Developing, implementing, and optimizing security policies to enforce best practices and protect the network.
Security Consulting:
Providing expert advice and guidance on Palo Alto Networks solutions to other teams or clients.
Documentation and Reporting:
Creating and maintaining documentation related to network security configurations, policies, and procedures.
Should have ability to troubleshoot, identify and resolve complex security issues.
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate technical information to various stakeholders.
Must have Ability to collaborate effectively with other engineers and teams to achieve common security goals while providing excellent support and guidance to users or clients
