Talascend is currently seeking a
Claims Analyst
for a long‑term contract opportunity with our client in
Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey .
Overview
The primary responsibility of this position is reviewing concealed damage claims from various business partners. The role involves supporting strategic program management and planning, maintaining effective communication with key stakeholders, and ensuring attention to detail and excellent communication skills, including storytelling visually. Korean bilingual ability is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
Review claim forms, bills of lading, and inspection reports to determine if damage occurred while in the care of the carrier
Analyze photos and verify the validity of the claim
Perform key program and project management, from planning to deliverables development
Collaborate with department leaders for short to mid-term planning
Communicate program and project progress to leadership and escalates issues as needed
Create content for executive presentations and reports to support recommendations
Coordinate and develop content for executive workshops and working sessions
Qualifications
Associate degree or higher (bachelors degree preferred not required)
0-2 years of experience from strategy/management consulting or within a strategic planning/corporate development function in a global organization
Experience communicating with mid-level to top-level leaders (status reports, presentations, in-person meetings)
Working knowledge of project management fundamentals and documentation practices
Experience working in a global organization is a plus
Demonstrated ability to perform the duties of this position through relevant experience, training, or education
Preferred Qualifications
Experience handling claims or in the industry for 2+ years is preferred but not required
Bilingual in Korean is a plus
