Overview
Our client is seeking a highly experienced
Systems Analyst III
to support enterprise
Data Engineering and Data Governance initiatives
within a large-scale environment. This role requires a senior-level professional who can operate independently, analyze complex business and technical requirements, and deliver scalable data solutions.
The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in
Informatica platforms, Master Data Management (MDM), and Data Quality frameworks , along with the ability to translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
Role Summary
Operates with a high degree of autonomy, leveraging
8+ years of experience
to plan, design, and deliver complex solutions
Leads analysis of business objectives, identifies solution alternatives, and performs cost-benefit evaluations
Works cross-functionally with business and technical teams to optimize data processes and system performance
Supports enterprise data initiatives with a focus on governance, quality, and scalability
Key Responsibilities
Business & Systems Analysis
Analyze business objectives, workflows, and system requirements to identify improvement opportunities
Conduct detailed studies and cost-benefit analyses of alternative solutions
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand current processes and define future-state requirements
Solution Design & Documentation
Develop detailed functional and technical specifications for system enhancements and new solutions
Document user requirements, program functions, and development steps
Evaluate system capabilities, constraints, and feasibility of proposed changes
Data Engineering & Governance Support
Support enterprise data initiatives related to
Data Engineering and Data Governance (SHARP environment)
Contribute to data standardization, master data management, and data quality frameworks
Ensure alignment with enterprise data policies and governance models
Required Qualifications
10+ years of experience with Informatica tools , including: PowerCenter, IICS, IDMC, MDM, Axon, EDC, IDQ, Customer360, Supplier360, Entity360
10+ years of experience establishing Master Data and Reference Data
within large organizations
Strong experience implementing
data quality rules using Informatica Data Quality (IDQ)
Proven ability to work independently on complex initiatives with minimal oversight
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with
enterprise-scale datasets in Snowflake
(4+ years preferred)
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience
Master's degree or additional years of experience preferred
Experience in
healthcare or public health environments
Prior experience working within a
state agency or government setting
Experience with
Python scripting
for automation and API integration
