Position Summary

Tampa Family Health Centers is seeking a Patient Financial Services Specialist to support patient and provider inquiries, resolve account-related issues, and ensure a positive service experience.

This role is responsible for managing EPIC Work Queues, maintaining accurate documentation, and collaborating with revenue cycle and operational teams to ensure timely and effective resolution of patient financial matters.

Essential Responsibilities
Respond to patient and provider inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels
Manage and resolve EPIC Work Queues (WQs) in a timely manner
Document all interactions and updates within patient accounts accurately
Collaborate with RCM and operations teams to resolve account issues
Analyze trends and escalate concerns to leadership as needed
Provide support and guidance on EPIC system usage when applicable
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required
EPIC experience required; certification preferred
Minimum 2 years of healthcare customer service or patient financial services experience
Skills & Abilities

Strong communication and customer service skills
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to interpret insurance information and communicate clearly with patients and team members
Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with a team
Work Environment

Remote role with expectation to reside in the Tampa Bay region
