Field Service Technician

The AVI-SPL Field Service Technician will work in partnership with the Global Helpdesk to provide Service support for customers at on-site locations with the end goals of restoring functionality to our customers' assets while delivering a world-class Customer Service experience.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

The AVI-SPL Field Service Technician will work in partnership with the Global Helpdesk to provide Service support for customers at customer sites with the end goals of restoring functionality to our customers' assets while delivering a world-class Customer Service experience.

Day-To-Day Responsibilities:

Perform room checks to ensure stable and reliable client AV environments.
Deploy, configure, and update Crestron control systems and firmware.
Troubleshoot and support networked AV systems, including IP-based devices and infrastructure.
Execute field service tasks with a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency.
Support senior technicians and collaborate with team members to resolve technical issues.
Deliver client training and provide guidance to junior technicians.
Adhere to OSHA standards and maintain jobsite safety compliance.
Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot Crestron Teams UC engines and conferencing systems.
Travel to client sites as required to support service delivery.
Take on additional responsibilities to support team objectives and evolving business needs.
Items to Consider:

Work hours and locations may vary based on client needs and operational requirements.
Role is assigned to a dedicated client account supporting multiple locations.
Flexibility and willingness to travel are required.
Company vehicle provided.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Must-Haves:

Strong communication skills with customers, coworkers, and internal teams.
Properly use hand and power tools.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Intermediate computer knowledge.
Understanding of audio, video, and control signal flow.
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Nice-to-Haves:

High school diploma or equivalent.
2-4 years of audiovisual experience.
Formal education in electronics or a related field.
Familiarity with:

Crestron troubleshooting experience and certifications
AV industry certifications
AVIXA CTS certification
OSHA 30-Hour Construction Course
