Our client, a leader in Ethernet systems and automotive technology, is seeking a dedicated and innovative Test Automation Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Test Automation Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Advanced Hardware Engineering department supporting network validation and automation initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a collaborative spirit, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?
Build and maintain Python-based test automation frameworks for Ethernet compliance, integration, and performance validation
Develop PCAP/tcpdump tooling and fault injection scripts to validate ARP, ICMP, FCS, link-loss, and failure recovery test cases
Configure and manage VLAN-segmented (802.1Q) topologies across bench and HIL test setups, including power supplies, DAQ systems, and relay controls
Validate interoperability between network switches and sensors; ensure compliance with security and PPAP standards for Ethernet ECUs
Own technical documentation for frameworks, test methodologies, and system configurations
What's Needed?
BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with 6+ years of relevant experience
Strong knowledge of OSI model, TCP/IP, UDP, ICMP, ARP, SNMP, and VLAN (802.1Q) configuration
Advanced Python and Bash scripting skills with proven experience in test automation frameworks (e.g., pytest)
Proficiency with network diagnostic tools such as Wireshark, iPerf, tcpdump, traceroute, and ethtool
Solid CI/CD and DevOps experience with the ability to debug across the full OSI stack
