Job Title: Asset Reference Data Analyst (Entry Level)
Pay Rate:
$28/hr W2
Duration:
6 Months (RTH Opportunity)
Location:
Newark, DE (Onsite)
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM (may rotate to 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM; OT as needed)

Bachelor's Degree - REQUIRED

Job Summary:
The Asset Reference Data Analyst will be part of the Instrument Reference Data Operations team, responsible for delivering high-quality securities reference data across multiple lines of business. This team operates as a center of excellence, sourcing, validating, and distributing instrument data used in trading, risk management, fund valuation, settlement, and regulatory reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform
daily validation of reference data
within internal systems
Source, validate, and maintain
instrument and pricing data
Work with
external data vendors (e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters)
and internal tech teams
Resolve
data discrepancies and client queries
in a timely manner
Ensure
accuracy and timely delivery of financial data
Participate in
process improvements and automation initiatives (AI/tools)
Support
monthly deliverables and reporting deadlines
Collaborate with stakeholders across operations, technology, and business teams
Escalate issues appropriately and maintain strong documentation
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (MANDATORY)
- Finance, Accounting, Economics, Math, CS, Engineering preferred
Strong understanding or interest in
financial markets / fixed income / securities
Proficiency in
MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
Excellent
analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong
communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to
work under pressure and meet deadlines
Detail-oriented with strong
organizational skills
Ability to
multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Exposure to
Fixed Income, Pricing, Fund Valuation, or Market Data
Knowledge of
corporate actions, index benchmarking, and financial instruments
Familiarity with
Bloomberg / Reuters
Exposure to
AI / ML tools (Alteryx, Tableau, etc.)
