Inova Physical Rehab Services-Tysons is looking for a dedicated

Rehabilitation Services Technician

to join our team. This role will be Part-Time (20 hours/week), Day Shift, Monday-Friday, 10am-3pm (Hours can vary depending on department's needs)

In this dynamic role, you will be working alongside a talented group of rehabilitation clinicians in our Physical Therapy department. The Rehabilitation Services Technician adheres to facility policy in the maintenance of patient care areas, equipment, and supplies. Assists with the patient care under the guidance/direction of a licensed rehab professional while demonstrating essential skill competencies in the use of patient care modalities. Communicates effectively via written and verbal communication with patients, families, medical staff, healthcare team members, students, supervisors, and outside contacts. Completes all administrative and other responsibilities in support of the operating unit.

May perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: High School or GED

Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association required upon start.

Preferred Qualification:

Experience in the clinical/rehab setting

Responsibilities

Assist rehabilitation clinicians in delivering high-quality physical therapy and massage therapy services to patients.

Support the implementation of treatment plans and ensure a smooth and efficient patient flow.

Maintain accurate patient records and documentation as per clinic standards.

Assist with scheduling and appointment management, ensuring optimal utilization of clinic resources.

Collaborate with leaders and contribute to projects focused on improving operational efficiency, including schedule optimization and clinic compliance initiatives.

Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients, adhering to infection control protocols.

Assist with equipment setup, maintenance, and inventory management.

Provide excellent customer service and create a positive patient experience.

Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in rehabilitation.

Perform other related duties as assigned by the clinic management.

Qualifications

CPR certification is mandatory.

Previous experience in a rehabilitation or healthcare setting is preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effective collaboration with clinicians and patients.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and basic computer applications.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Physical stamina to assist with patient mobility and transfer as needed.

A positive and empathetic attitude towards patients and colleagues.

Willingness to undergo ongoing training and professional development.

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in healthcare-related fields are an asset.
