
RN - Ortho, Spine Neuro (OSN) Baylor Weekend Days (0.6 FTE) INTERNAL CANDIDATES

Wage Range: $48.21- $87.11 per hour

This Baylor position includes two (2) twelve (12) hour shifts per weekend.
Saturday, and Sunday 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM the nurse working in a BWP will be paid 1.25 x for all weekend day shift hours.
Posted wage ranges represent the entire range from minimum to maximum. For jobs with more than one level, the posted range reflects the minimum of the lowest level and the maximum of the highest level. Some positions also offer additional premiums based on shift, certifications or degrees. Job offers are determined based on a candidate's years of relevant experience, level of education and internal equity.
Job Summary
Responsible for the total direct nursing care of all patients within established standards of care, hospital and unit policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Primary Duties
Provides direct patient care and functions as a patient advocate.
Assess the comprehensive nursing needs of an assigned group of patients.
Coordinate the patient and family/significant other education process.
Continuously plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, incorporating patient and family/significant other into the process.
Participate with physician partners and other interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient and family/significant other plan of care.
Communicate effectively all relevant information (e.g., patient information, safety issues, problems with equipment, quality issues, etc.) to immediate supervisor, in a timely way.
Communicate and document changes in patient condition, on a timely basis, to charge nurse/supervisor and physician.
Perform other duties as assigned.
License, Certification, Education or Experience
Required
Graduate of a nursing program (Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required)
Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington
Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification by date of hire
Desired
