
Security System Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Low Voltage Security Technician to install, maintain, and service electronic security systems in commercial and data center environments. This role requires strong technical ability, attention to detail, and professional communication with clients and team members.
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and commission electronic security systems, including CCTV, access control, and intrusion/alarm systems
Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections to ensure systems operate at optimal performance
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair system issues; replace defective components and update firmware/configurations
Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, schematics, and installation standards
Provide client-facing support, including basic system training and clear communication
Maintain accurate documentation, including service reports, checklists, and job closeouts
Follow all safety protocols and job site procedures
Required Qualifications
Proven hands‑on experience in electronic security installation and service
Working knowledge of access control, CCTV/IP cameras, alarm systems, and basic networking
OSHA 30 Certification and Aerial Lift Training (required)
Proficiency with multimeters, cable testers, power tools, and testing equipment
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with IP networking and structured cabling
Familiarity with integrated systems (access control, burglar/fire alarms, IP cameras)
Ability to lead small teams or mentor junior technicians
Industry certifications (ESA, NICET, or manufacturer‑specific)
