Convenient Care – Advanced Practice Provider

Aurora, IL.
Team & Work Hours
Approximately 20 Advanced Practice Providers across all locations. The site is staffed solely by APPs. Work hours: 7:45 am – 7:30 pm, seven days a week, including holidays.
Responsibilities
Serve walk‑in patients with minor illnesses and acute injuries.
Perform school and sports physicals and provide immunizations.
Conduct on‑site diagnostic services including CLIA‑waived laboratory testing, X‑ray and CT.
Collaborate with multiple disciplines to ensure cost‑effective and quality patient care.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous Advanced Practice Provider experience in urgent care or emergency medicine.
Position Requirements
Nurse Practitioner:
Current licensure from the State of Illinois as a Registered Professional Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse or eligibility to obtain licensure through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) application process.
Master of Science in Nursing or Doctorate of Nursing Practice with a clinical specialty appropriate to the position.
Current certification by the American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
Physician Assistant:
Current licensure from the State of Illinois as a Physician Assistant/Associate or eligibility to obtain licensure through the IDFPR application process.
Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant/Associate Program.
Current certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay: $50.72 – $66.73 per hour.
