About the Role
Position Title:
Visual Merchandising Coordinator
Location:
Orlando Float
Reports To:
Regional Visual Merchandising Supervisor (RVMS), Manager (RVMM) or Senior Manager (SVMM)
Pay Range:
$18-$20 per hour
Key Responsibilities
Merchandise the Showroom:
Perform daily reset, maintain standards, review floor plans, facilitate product transitions, manage orders, create stock transfer documents, oversee deliveries, plan movement of display products, print price tags, conduct audits, and respond to monthly audits.
Place & Replenish Home Accents:
Receive, unpack, tag accessories, place bulbs, update seasonal displays, and replenish home accents and mattress gallery per planograms.
Inventory Control:
Track display products with RFID, oversee ordering and receiving, review inventory variances, provide PO documentation, and conduct labeling audits.
Support Sales Department:
Drive sales via effective displays, collaborate with General Manager, assist sales associates, communicate pricing and tag requirements, and participate in meetings.
Team & Department Involvement:
Attend Visual team meetings, coordinate with planning and leadership, support new showroom set‑up, and provide feedback to Marketing and Operations.
Adhere to Standard Work:
Follow all assigned standard work and role responsibilities.
Requirements
Education & Experience:
High School Diploma (required); one year of visual merchandising experience in a retail environment preferred.
Work Environment & Schedule:
Monday‑Friday 9:30 am‑6:30 pm, with limited night and weekend hours; 40 hrs/week full‑time; travel may be required for multiple showrooms and projects.
Physical Requirements:
Work in a showroom and warehouse setting, standing and walking for extended periods, ability to lift up to 45 lbs (including on ladders).
Technology:
Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), Google Suite, Apple iPad, general PC use; AS400 knowledge preferred; RFID tagging equipment knowledge preferred; ability to read CAD drawings.
Certifications:
Valid Florida Driver’s License.
