Job Highlights

Process/Plant Engineers at levels I, II, and III provide comprehensive engineering support to responsible units to ensure safe operations and consistent achievement of key performance metrics such as OEE and OR, aligning with LANXESS business objectives.

Core responsibilities include leading Management of Change (MOC) initiatives in collaboration with production teams, conducting daily process monitoring, troubleshooting process problems, and developing process improvement projects.

Engineers utilize their technical expertise and problem‑solving skills to address issues ranging from low to high complexity, working closely with cross‑functional teams to achieve KPIs.

They provide technical input for HAZOPS/PHA, assist in developing and implementing HAZOP/PSM measures with senior engineers, and drive projects from conception to FEL2 stage and beyond.

Daily tasks focus on process efficiency, equipment reliability, and quality to ensure production targets are met.

Experience / Skills

The role requires a BS in Chemical Engineering with experience requirements increasing from less than 3 years for Engineer I, to progressively more advanced experience for Engineer II and III, reflecting their growing responsibilities and leadership within the organization.

Engineers must have excellent computer skills, project management skills and communication skills.
