Process Engineer
Yoh is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to support a manufacturing operation in Rochester, NY. This role focuses on developing detailed work instructions and ensuring products are manufactured in strict accordance with customer designs and specifications. The Process Engineer will support efficient, accurate, and repeatable processes across multiple manufacturing disciplines. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity.

$70,000

Estimated Max Rate:

$92,000

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain detailed work instructions for manufacturing jobs

Ensure production meets all customer design, quality, and specification requirements

Support CNC machining (mills and lathes), sheet metal fabrication, welding, and mechanical assembly operations

Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to improve efficiency and consistency

Maintain records of time, materials, and process changes

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred

Minimum 10 years of machining or manufacturing experience

3+ years of job processing or process engineering experience preferred

Strong ability to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications

Experience with precision measuring tools and common machine tools

Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills

Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work effectively under pressureStrong accountability and quality-focused mindset
