Schedule:
• Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri 8-hour varying shifts between 7:00am-5:00pm
• Tues, Thur 8-hour rotating shifts for nursing home draws between 6:00am-3:30pm
• Every 4th Saturday 8:00am-3:00pm
• Rotating holidays 8:00am-2:00pm
Duties include:
• Performing phlebotomy and blood collection services to patients of all ages
• Preparing samples for pickup
• Charting blood draws
• Maintain appropriate supplies inventory**Summary**Responsibilities include phlebotomy, collecting, preparing and processing specimens biological specimens.**Job Description**Assists in performing laboratory activities and other assigned tasks. Aids in preparing laboratory specimens and supplies. May be responsible for entering laboratory orders and results. Ensures the accuracy and quality of laboratory data in a safe and professional work environment.**Qualifications**High school diploma or General Educational Development Diploma (GED) preferred.
Completion of a formal phlebotomy program, phlebotomy experience, and experience in a laboratory-related field preferred.
