Join our team in a role of Lab Technician in our Marshall, TX site. In this role you will perform analytical tests and other laboratory related activities to assure the production and shipment of quality products.
In this role you will be:
Responsible for running entry level and/or routine analytical test procedures on samples submitted to the laboratory including:
prepare samples for testing; carry out detailed instructions; coordinate simultaneous activities without loss of meaningful results;
maintain accurate records of measurements;
make appropriate observations involved in work assignments;
recognize when additional advice or help is needed;
distribute results according to issued instructions or procedures.
Assisting in other laboratory activities as needed.
Performing quality and quantity of work to company standards.
Creating a safe and pleasant work environment and follow company safety procedures and policies.
Qualifications and Experience
Two-year technical degree or equivalent experience and training.
Must be able to follow instructions, perform technical tasks using a variety of laboratory equipment and computers.
Ability to work in the team and collaborate cross functionally.
On the job experience would be beneficial to become familiar with equipment, procedures, and operations.
