We are looking for the best Charge Nurse (LPN OR RN) to provide exceptional care to our residents. Come join our amazing team of healthcare professionals!
Shift:
NOC (6p-6a)
Responsibilities
Enhancing the clinical care and quality of life of our residents and ensuring that all resident rights are protected.
Preparing and administering medications as ordered by the physician.
Checking all residents daily to ensure that prescribed treatment is being properly administered by nursing personnel/assistants and to evaluate their physical and emotional status.
Keeping the RN Supervisor informed about the status of residents, staff and related matters.
Implementing recommended changes as directed by the RN Supervisor or the Director of Nurses.
Administering professional services such as catheterization, tube feeding, suction, applying and changing dressings/bandages, packs, colostomy and drainage bags, taking blood, sputum, and urine specimens, etc., as established by the facility’s policies and procedures.
Completing all required record keeping forms/charts upon the resident’s admission, discharge, transfer, etc. File in the resident’s chart and/or forward to the appropriate department.
Giving and receiving nursing reports upon reporting in and ending shift duty hours.
Investigating complaints and grievances and making necessary oral/written reports to the RN Supervisor or Director of Nurses.
Presenting in a professional image to residents and families through dress, behavior and speech.
Adhering to our policies and standards.

Qualifications
Certification as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN)
