Hillcrest Medical Center is a 656‑bed hospital that includes the Alexander Burn Center, the Peggy V. Helmerich Women’s Health Center, Kaiser Rehabilitation Center, the latest technology for the treatment of cancer, and the Oklahoma Heart Institute.
Responsibilities
Residents will provide pastoral/spiritual care to Hillcrest Medical Center (HMC)’s patients, families, and staff and reflect on these pastoral encounters as a basis for their learning.
Must be able to work in an interdisciplinary, ecumenical, interfaith, and multi‑cultural environment.
As part of the learning, a trainee will assess and identify patient and family needs; provide coverage for crisis intervention; maintain a working relationship between the pastoral care department, medical staff, and other departments; provide pastoral services in such a way as to accomplish the institutional and departmental objectives; participate in on‑call rotation on weekdays and Sundays; and accept and fulfill other departmental responsibilities as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree required
One (previous) CPE unit required
