Negley’s is seeking a skilled and dependable Diesel Mechanic to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and heavy‑duty vehicles. Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair diesel engines, trucks, and equipment.
Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, filter replacements, and brake inspections.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
Ensure all repairs meet safety standards and comply with company policies.
Operate diagnostic tools and software.
Communicate repair needs and job status to supervisors and team members.
Keep shop area clean and organized.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED; technical training or certification is a plus.
5+ years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role.
Strong knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, and hydraulics.
Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred).
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.
