Our client is seeking a
Java Tech Lead
to guide a team of developers while remaining hands-on in building scalable, high-quality applications. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in both leadership and technical execution, with a strong background in Java development, modern frameworks, and cloud-based environments. This is a hybrid position based in Westchester County, NY.
Starting at $160,000/year.
Java Tech Lead's Responsibilities and Duties:
Lead and mentor a small team of Java developers, providing guidance, support, and technical direction
Participate in hands-on development using Java and modern frameworks such as Spring
Conduct code reviews to ensure quality, performance, and adherence to best practices
Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performing applications
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Java Tech Lead's Qualifications and Skills:
Strong experience with Java and the Spring framework
Hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-based application development
Proven experience leading or mentoring development teams
Solid understanding of software design patterns, architecture, and best practices
Experience with code reviews, testing methodologies, and CI/CD pipelines
