Job : Sr. ZOS Engineer
Location : Coppell, TX or Costa Mesa, CA (2 days WFH /3 days in office)
Duration : 6 months Contract to Hire
(USC/ GC Holder ONLY)
TOP SKILLS:
•
10+ years of experience preferred
• Have to know
mainframe storage
• Have to know IODF configuration file that the mainframe uses to identify the hardware (z14- Z15)
• Broad experience of independent software vendors (Broadcom, IBM tools, etc.)
• Knowledge of SRDF would be preferred-they are moving to SRDF; storage replication
Day to day:
o Working change tickets
o Working problem tickets
o Being on-call within a couple months-there is a on -call loop
o Supporting major projects
CICS upgrade
DB2 upgrade
Z upgrade
Storage upgrade
