Job Title: Assembler I – Compressor Prep
Summary
Installs compressor components and installs compressors on units.
Responsibilities
Read and understand job specifications.
Read and understand tape measure.
Pass training and operate overhead crane.
Stand, stoop, bend and kneel for periods of time.
Use basic hand tools in proper manner.
Understand and use torque wrench.
Have basic reading and writing skills.
Lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds on occasion.
Push or pull units to move them.
Other duties as assigned by team leader or supervisor.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to read and understand a tape measure.
