RESPONSIBILITIES:
A. Bilateral Loans
Issue facility letters and review non-standard facility agreements and security documentation for complex deals drafted by external counsel, ensuring all terms comply with approved credit conditions, Group policies, and regulatory requirements.
Confirm that executed documentation is perfected and in good order before credit facilities are implemented.
Actively manage risk - identify and resolve discrepancies, and ensure proper approval is obtained from the authorized approver prior to implementation.
Apply strong product knowledge across real estate, construction, project finance, and trade finance.
Oversee safe custody of legal and security documentation in the vault and maintain accurate records in the collateral management system.
B. Syndication Loans
Execute all administrative tasks required to support borrowers and lenders in the Loan Agency function throughout the loan lifecycle.
Ensure documentation is perfected, in good order, and aligned with approved credit terms.
Operate as agent on complex syndicated deals - a highly visible role requiring precision, sound understanding of deal mechanics, and confident management of borrowers, lenders, and internal stakeholders.
Actively manage risk to protect the commercial interests of the Bank, borrowers, and lenders.
C. Credit Risk Monitoring, Reporting, and Operational Risk
Monitor credit risk and escalate exceptions related to covenant compliance, documentation expiries, property revaluations, insurance renewals, annual credit reviews, and early alert indicators.
Prepare monthly limit and exposure reports and fulfill internal and regulatory reporting obligations related to the loan portfolio.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, banking and finance, risk management or related discipline.
2. Minimum of 5-8 years of solid experience in credit administration and/or loan agency functions within a wholesale
or corporate banking environment.
3. Highly meticulous with strong risk awareness, capable of working independently, adaptable to fast-changing
environments, and equipped with strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
4. Demonstrated strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, particularly in credit control,
documentation, and portfolio monitoring.
5. Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and to perform effectively under demanding conditions and
tight deadlines.
