Overview
Student library workers are responsible for carrying out basic tasks in support of library operations.
Position Work Hours
5-30 hours per week
Rate of Pay
$20 per hour
Responsibilities
Apply circulation policies to assist patrons with the checkout, renewal, and check-in of library materials.
Perform end-processing of Library physical materials, including labelling and creating book jackets.
Staff the Library Circulation Service Desk
Refer research and curricular questions to appropriate library faculty.
Perform stacks maintenance, including shifting, shelf-reading, general tidying, and search for missing books.
Monitor the library space for safety.
Qualifications
Previous customer service experience
Professional communication skills
Reading and higher order thinking skills
Previous library experience preferred
Federal Work Study eligible undergraduate.graduate students attending Touro University California.

USD $20.00/Hr.
Minimum Salary
