HR Notes (10/21/24)
We are looking for two resources with at least one onshore, ideally in the KC area but would be open to Remote US if they can't get someone local.
The team needs resources with experience building and implementing complex mainframe job schedules using

IBM Z

Workload Scheduler (IZWS).
The team will be moving from

CA ESP

to

IBM Z

Workload Scheduler (IZWS) , so if resources have

CA ESP

experience would be a major plus.
Specialized mainframe skills for an upcoming project to move from their existing job scheduling tool to use an

IBM tool

instead. They don't have anyone in-house with experience with the IBM Tool.
Duration of the project would last at least a year and would potentially be open to a temp to perm resource for the right candidate(s) but don't think a deal breaker if more of consultant resource.
Run several Million jobs/month.
NOTE - They are still working on getting the funding approved but would ideally like resources to start before the end of year if things can come together. 80% likely to be approved, since they DO NOT have anyone internally who can help with a task that MUST BE completed.

Why are the positions open?

They have been talking about this task/role for a year. IBM proposed to do work which was too expensive.
A couple of internal teams tried with no luck. They don't have any resources who are able to help and complete the work.
