Overview
Slalom is seeking an experienced
Senior .NET Cloud/Web Developer
to support the redesign and modernization of a
client website . This is a contract engagement supporting a highly collaborative Agile team working within a modern Microsoft web and cloud ecosystem.
The ideal candidate is a strong backend-focused developer with deep .NET expertise, comfort working across the full stack when needed, and professional maturity to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Role Summary
You will join a
5-person Agile delivery team , contributing primarily to backend development in a modern
.NET and Blazor
environment. The team follows a
platform-first philosophy , emphasizing Azure-native services and out-of-the-box capabilities over custom-built solutions.
While the platform includes
Sitecore JSS (Headless) , this role does not require CMS specialization. A dedicated Sitecore SME is already embedded in the team; your responsibility will be to extend the existing framework and integrate it into broader web solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain clean, scalable backend code supporting the website redesign.
Extend and enhance an existing
Sitecore JSS (Headless)
implementation in collaboration with a Sitecore specialist.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex web application issues across the full stack, including CDN, identity, and third-party integrations.
Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including daily standups, backlog refinement, estimation, and story ownership.
Collaborate closely with frontend developers, QA, and infrastructure resources to deliver high-quality solutions.
Communicate technical progress, risks, and decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Serve as a technical point of contact for stakeholders when leadership is unavailable.

Required Qualifications
Senior-level experience as a
.NET Web or Cloud Developer
delivering production-grade applications.
Expert-level fluency in modern
.NET (v8+) , C#, and web application development.
Hands-on experience troubleshooting full-stack web applications, including identity, security, and CDN layers.
Familiarity with
headless CMS patterns
(Sitecore JSS experience preferred, but not required).
Strong debugging skills and a pragmatic, platform-first development mindset.
Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code with minimal oversight.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
Preferred Attributes
Experience working in Azure environments with a focus on low-code and managed services.
Background working on high-visibility public websites or digital platforms.
Comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy and accountability.
Quick learner who can ramp up efficiently within an active delivery team.

Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors.
