About the Role
We are seeking an
AWS/DevOps Systems Engineer
to join a large healthcare insurance organization. This role involves building and supporting automation services across AWS cloud infrastructure and CI/CD platforms. Candidate must be comfortable with hybrid work in the DMV area and available for
weekend support (once per month) .
Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain
CI/CD pipelines
(Jenkins/Groovy).
Automate deployments using
Python, Bash, AWS CloudFormation .
Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on
AWS (VPC, EC2, EKS, CloudWatch, etc.) .
Support container orchestration with
Kubernetes (EKS), Podman .
Collaborate with Dev, DB, Security, and IT teams on cloud and infrastructure solutions.
Troubleshoot and monitor
Linux/Windows production environments .
Support
disaster recovery, audits, and change management
processes.
Qualifications
Bachelor's in IT or
5+ years
of DevOps/Cloud Systems Engineering experience.
Strong scripting skills ( Python, Bash ).
Expertise with
CI/CD pipelines, AWS services, Kubernetes, and Git .
Hands-on experience with
server, network, storage, and security
in enterprise IT.
Knowledge of
Spring Boot Java apps
a plus.
Strong problem-solving and cross-team collaboration skills.
