About the Role:
We're looking for a
Network Automation Engineer
with strong software engineering skills to help us automate and scale our network infrastructure. This role sits at the intersection of
network engineering
and
full-stack development , leveraging modern frameworks like
Laravel, PHP, React, and Tailwind CSS
to build custom tools, dashboards, and APIs that streamline network operations and observability.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement automation tools and scripts to manage network infrastructure.
Develop and maintain web-based dashboards and internal tools using
Laravel (PHP)
and
React .
Use
Tailwind CSS
for clean, responsive UI/UX on custom interfaces.
Integrate network devices and systems (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls) with backend automation workflows via REST APIs, SNMP, SSH, or other protocols.
Write scalable, maintainable code to support configuration management, provisioning, monitoring, and reporting.
Collaborate with network engineers and DevOps to define automation needs and streamline operations.
Monitor and improve performance of network automation pipelines.
Document processes, systems, and solutions clearly for internal teams.
Skills & Qualifications:
Required:
Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, switching, and network security.
Experience with network automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Netmiko, Nornir, Python-based tooling).
Proficient in
Laravel (PHP)
for backend application development.
Solid frontend skills using
React
and
Tailwind CSS .
Knowledge of RESTful API design and integration.
Comfortable working with Linux systems and CLI-based network interfaces.
Version control with Git and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
Preferred:
Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, Zabbix, SolarWinds).
Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Knowledge of SDN (Software Defined Networking) concepts.
Exposure to Agile methodologies and collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc.).
