Senior Developer - Credit Decisioning Modernization
Hybrid (Baltimore, MD or Wilmington, DE - must live within 50 miles)
6-Month Contract

10+ years in financial services with strong expertise in credit/loan decisioning platforms, Java/Python development,
Amazon Web Services (AWS)
cloud-native architecture, rule/decision engines, SQL/JSON, Docker/Kubernetes, DevOps CI/CD, and enterprise system modernization experience.
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
10+ years of financial services experience, specifically with strategy-based decisioning platforms
8+ years of programming experience (Java, Python)
Strong understanding of data structures and complex datasets
Hands-on experience with
Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Experience with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
Strong knowledge of Java, SQL, and JSON
DevOps experience in cloud environments
Proven experience modernizing enterprise systems to cloud-native architectures
Expertise with rule engines / decision engines
Strong communication skills across technical and business stakeholders
Must reside within 50 miles of Baltimore, MD or Wilmington, DE
Preferred
Experience with data build tool (dbt)
Experience in loan decisioning and credit risk platforms
Familiarity with open-source and commercial rule engines
SAFe / Agile delivery experience
